Iran War/ France Seeks China's Involvement in Opening the Strait of Hormuz

The head of the French Navy, Nicolas Vosour, has stated that China must immediately be involved in restoring navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

However, there is direct political dialogue between Chinese and Iranian authorities to ensure that a number of ships can pass.

"Will this be enough to restore calm? I don't think so," Admiral Nicolas Vauzour said at the Paris security forum.

"China will probably have to get more involved in the talks and show its impatience with the fact that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed," he added.
