The government also sets a reference salary for barbers, for surgeons the reference goes over 2200 euros

The Tax Administration published the indicative salary list for employees in the medical and personal care sectors.
The list, which will serve as a reference tool for risk analysis, in order to identify possible cases of non-declaration of employees' real salaries, ranges from 75 thousand lek for the salaries of barbers and hairdressers to 215 thousand lek for surgeons.
"The Tax Administration will analyze the data declared in the payrolls of entities operating in these sectors, comparing them with the indicative salary levels according to the respective professions. Taxpayers who declare salaries below the indicative salary level for the respective professions, or who change the categorization of the employee's profession in order to declare a lower salary, will be considered at risk and will be subject to verification by the specialized structures of the Tax Administration," the Tax Administration stated in an official announcement.
The Administration has called on all taxpayers to accurately declare the real salaries of employees in the medical and aesthetic sector in accordance with the tax legislation in force. According to it, the measures for the accurate declaration of salaries aim to increase the payment of social security contributions, in order to ensure dignified pensions for employees in the medical and personal care (aesthetic) sector./ Kapitali
