The 16-year-old Albanian footballer who "stole" the USA from us shines again in MLS, provides an assist in the second consecutive game

Adri Mehmeti is quickly becoming one of the most exciting names in the MLS championship, where he started this year as a starter with the New York Red Bulls despite being only 16 years old.

The Albanian footballer excelled today in his second consecutive match for his team, helping them to a 1-0 victory over New England. Just like in the first match against Orlando, Mehmeti managed to leave his mark, providing an assist for another teenager, Hall, who scored the only goal of the match.

Mehmeti was part of the Albanian U15 national team in 2023, but then decided to represent the US age group teams. With his appearances in MLS, it is expected that Mehmeti will soon be called up to the older age groups.
