Although Justin Bieber moved on with his current wife, Hailey, just two months after splitting from Selena Gomez, the famous singer confessed in a recent interview that he felt lonely for many years. Gomez, who is engaged to Benny Blanco, admitted that she didn't like anyone for five years after splitting from her ex-partner.

The 32-year-old star and Justin Bieber were a couple for nearly a decade, with the two deciding to go their separate ways in 2018. The star made the confession while discussing her awkward first kiss with Blanco on the latest episode of the podcast Table Manners with Jesse and Lenny Ware.

Blanco said: At the end of the night, we were sitting on the couch in the living room and playing 'We're Not Really Strangers.' There was a question that said take a selfie with the person next to you, and she sat right on my chest and took a selfie. And then, I immediately looked at Selena and said, I have to kiss this girl. And I immediately kissed her. And her heart started beating so fast, and she started blushing, she was so nervous.

Lenny asked: Wasn't she allergic to you?

Benny Blanco said: It was, yes. I was very slanderous and disgusting.

Selena who said: I didn't like anyone for a long time. Some kisses are for fun, but when you feel something after the kiss, it's completely different. And I was single for about five years, except for a few bad dates here and there, but I never felt like that. And I felt a little ashamed.

Hailey Bieber has received public criticism and was previously accused of "stealing" Justin Bieber from the singer after their split. To prove that there was no feud between them, Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez were photographed together in 2022.
