Pumpkin and rice casserole
Ingredients:
1 dried onion
3-4 green onion stalks
2 bunches of dill
1 bunch of parsley
1 and 1½ cups of rice
1 cup of water
2 cups of milk
2-3 eggs
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt, pepper, nutmeg
Grated kaçkavall cheese
Preparation:
First, sauté the dried onion with a little olive oil and butter for 2-3 minutes. Then add the green onion stalks, the sliced zucchini and continue sautéing. While sautéing, add salt, pepper, spices and the previously boiled rice. Place the entire preparation in a casserole. Beat the eggs together with the warm milk, a glass of water, salt, pepper, walnuts and add to the casserole. Finally, sprinkle with kaçkavall cheese and place in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 30-40 minutes.
