The Albanian Parliament's payroll for May's salaries has applied strict financial sanctions to a significant number of MPs and senior officials, who have had part of their salaries withheld due to unjustified absences from parliamentary work and disciplinary measures taken against them.
According to the official penalty table, the fine for one day of absence is set at 10,443 lekë. The record for penalties for this period is held by opposition MP Flamur Noka.
