December 22nd Protest, Adriana Kalaja: The next parade of the Democratic Party

Lawyer Adriana Kalaja, in a direct connection with the studio of "Off the Record" by Andrea Danglli, on A2CNN, described the December 22 protest as "the next parade of the Democratic Party."

"There is no need for a second, third or fifth podium. We as oppositionists need to think about the strategy to overthrow Edi Rama. A meeting was held where the only topic of discussion was protest and the permanent parade will continue at the protest, 5-6 people will come out there and say the permanent things," said Kalaja.

"Will the people who have followed this wrong strategy be held accountable? I have no reason to return to office when the Democratic Party has no other approach. Today we should have discussed what happened with the Ombudsman, not because I was a candidate, but because people need a correct reaction. We need to raise all the problems and dot the i's. We are repeating the mistakes," Kalaja added.

She recalled that there were 16,000 people at the first podium because "there was a desire for change and to raise democracy to the level of the opposition."

"So, I will continue the fight in the face of injustice, but the DP also needs to come to its senses and ask itself if it needs changes in its structure. It definitely does," Kalaja added.
