DP requests repeat elections in Berat district

The Democratic Party has filed an official request with the Complaints and Sanctions Commission to declare the parliamentary elections of May 11, 2025, invalid in the entire Berat District.

In the request submitted to the CEC, the DP requests the annulment of the final summary table of the election results in this district, arguing that the process was manipulated and illegally influenced by the government.

According to the Democratic Party, the electoral process in Berat was conducted under unequal conditions, dominated by the use of public resources and pressure on voters, turning, according to it, into a farce that deformed the will of the citizens.

The DP demands from KAS a repeat of the elections in this district.
