Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is also the leader of the Socialist Party (SP) from the assembly of this political force, spoke about independent justice. He said that in the past, the justice system was neither free nor independent.

Although his statement is paradoxical, since by referring to the most recent case, the "Balluku" case, the socialists prevented SPAK from arresting Balluku by not granting him authorization in the Assembly.

"Justice has been laid on a bloody and dirty bed. Previously, it has never been free or independent, impartial or not. I am sorry to say that for those who demand it from us and for those who accuse us, it has nothing to do with us. We have handed over the sword of judicial power to the judicial power. We have the government of the country, but not of the justice system. We have never had, at least not me, but also others who have shared these issues related to this topic, the illusion that everything would work out on time, in such a short time. Things would not go as they should, because they cannot go otherwise when new institutions are established. I want to repeat one thing, the wise saying of our neighbors from the other side of the Adriatic, who say; the baby can never be thrown out, along with the dirty water, must guide us on this path. Our patience must be heroic, in the face of all the filth that comes to us from all sides, of which I have no doubt, where history will remember only the SP. It will remember this time and that of independence, all the rest will be swept away by the wind. But in the meantime, we are in this time, we are the SP and we must face the scum that comes towards us, with all kinds of accusations and expressions of barbarity that characterize a period where democracy is still a being in the process of formation and not fully formed. It is beautiful how history has turned around because they came out and said; this is a game! ", he said.
