The Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office, Engjëll Agaçi, is no longer in the position he held next to the head of government, Edi Rama.
His departure is reported to have come as a result of resignation, while the reasons are not yet clear.
Meanwhile, it is reported that he will be replaced in office by Elsonida Rama.
Changes have also been made in the leadership of the Prime Minister's cabinet. Vilma Guri has been appointed chief of staff, replacing Vali Bizhga in this position.
