With 28 active years in Parliament, the second most voted deputy in Albania, with over 15 thousand votes, Erion Braçe, sees the candidacy for deputy without
emotions. Although he continues to do his work with the same passion.
In an interview with the journalist Elona Meço in the show "Pa Censure, on RTSH, Erion Braçe was cold about the re-candidacy in 2025, where in the SP the rule has been established that deputies with more than 1 mandate will not be placed on the list for sure. " I have no problem at all if I am or am not a deputy, I no longer have a problem with whether or not I am in a safe or unsafe part. At my biological and political age, I have no worries or dilemmas about whether or not I will be a deputy. I don't consider it a candidacy. I show up there for a work contract. In case they will give it to me, ok. If they don't give it to me, I will look for work elsewhere. What's the problem?! "- said Erion Braçe, confirming that he continues to work with the structures of the SP in the area of Divjaka, in the district of Fier.
This district, which produces 16 deputies, is now led by Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, whom Mr. Braçe supported for the decisions taken in order to achieve the electoral objective. "I don't know what structures have changed in Fier, but even if they have, they have done well, because you cannot expect a higher result by doing the same thing. Our objective is to get 10 MPs. We had them in 2017 and we must take them back again." - said Erion Braçe during the interview with journalist Elona Meço, where he was also asked if he is in favor of closing social networks such as Tik Tok or Snapchat.
Tik Tok is a social network based in China, but is only free in the US and Europe. In China it is closed and used only for
teaching purposes. For Europe and America, Tik Tok has other rules that have brought these consequences today. We don't need any more virus from
China, no more bomb from China than the one it dropped in the middle of Europe and in the middle of America. Even from the dimension of the commission that I lead, for the influences that come from China and from its propaganda, but also from the damage that this social network is causing, for me it should be closed. All those who are talking now and it turns out that they are either economic users of Tik Tok, or click influencers of Tik Tok, must understand that the money that benefits from Tik Tok is worth much less than the lives of the children who use Tik Tok.
