Arben Malaj "officializes" his candidacy in Vlora: It is not Edi

While Elisa Spiropali and Erion Braçe have started the "revolt" from within, it seems that even the veterans of the Socialist Party have been put into action.

Former minister and long-time socialist Arben Malaj seems to have changed his mind about running for the Municipality of Vlora. A few days ago, he said that there are many demands to enter the local elections next year, but he was in a dilemma.

But today Malaj has signaled that he will run. Earlier, he said that he will never be a SP candidate as long as Rama is there, signaling that he will run as an independent.

"Vlora is not a cadastral map of Rama; Vlora is the Queen of the Mediterranean, the symbolic deity of our national independence and freedom. Vlora is and will remain the pearl that will shine in the centuries as the point of union of all Albanians, brothers and sisters from every corner of the proud Albania. Together, we will do everything and we will write the dedication that I want to deserve with you and leave as a legacy for the new leaders of Vlora and Albania: 'He found Vlora without hope and left it with a clear vision for the future'" , writes Malaj.

I would give everything to start the race for Mayor of Vlora together with you, with all our positive energies, inspired by the three examples of world leadership and the high responsibility to deserve these accolades at the end of the mandate:

First, as Edwin M. Lee said: “There is no limit to the success and potential of this extraordinary city, if we keep the door of opportunity open to every resident of SF/Vlora.”

Secondly, like George Christopher: “SF/Vlora was deep in his heart.

He served our city with 1. excellent efficiency, 2. devout purpose, and 3. tireless dedication.”

And above all, as a model of integrity, I will be inspired and accompanied by the model of Fiorello La Guardia, the mayor of New York:

"He was a man of the people who believed that good governance:

(i) it is not just a matter of

(ii) but a matter of character and

(i) politics can be a

From this last vision we must start together.

It's time to "kill by mass vote":

(ii) absolute power corrupts absolutely and

(iii) the greed that is killing the hopes and dreams of Albanians.

Vlora is not a cadastral map of Rama; Vlora is the Queen of the Mediterranean, the symbolic deity of our national independence and freedom.

Vlora is and will remain the pearl that will shine for centuries as the point of unity of all Albanians, brothers and sisters from every corner of glorious Albania.

Together, we will do everything and write the dedication that I want to deserve with you and leave as a legacy for the new leaders of Vlora and Albania: “He found Vlora without hope and left it with a clear vision for the future.”
