Impasse for the President in Kosovo, Kurti: LDK should bring 15 signatures and let their candidate face our candidate

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, and also the leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, accused the opposition parties that by not participating in the session to elect the president, they are showing that they "have no other goal than to block."
During the conference, Kurti was asked about the 15 signatures presented the night before by the LDK.
The head of the LVV said that the LDK did not indicate which of its presidential candidates the signatures were for, adding that they were not sent to him or the head of the LVV's deputies, Arbërie Nagavci.
He said that the letter presented by Lumir Abdixhiku to the media did not state what the signatures were for, although the LDK had previously said that it could nominate the former head of state, Vjosa Osmani, for president.
Kurti said that his party is ready to add the 15 signatures needed to apply for the LDK nominee.
"We will accept [the LDK signatures] with the greatest kindness and pleasure. And then, if we had the clear name of the LDK as to who it is, I would meet with candidate Hatixhe Hoxha to ask her to withdraw and add 15 others and have Feride Rushiti and another candidate. That's how it could have been done," Kurti said.
