"Fox News" writes that US President Donald Trump wants to make Venezuela the 51st state of America.

Meanwhile, Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, stated that she has never considered the possibility of her country becoming the 51st state of the United States, at a time when US President Donald Trump says he has it under control.

"We would never think this because, if there is one thing that we Venezuelans have in common, it is that we love our independence, the heroes and heroines of our independence," Rodriguez said.

We recall that earlier, in March, President Trump posted a message on the Truth Social platform that referred to this possibility: "Good things are happening recently in Venezuela, maybe we will see a 51st state."
