US intends to open quarantine center in Kenya, Rubio: We will not allow Ebola to enter the US

The United States will not allow any Ebola cases to enter its territory and will set up a quarantine center in Kenya, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, as the virus has broken out in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"We cannot and will not allow a single case of Ebola to enter the United States ," the US Secretary of State said before a cabinet meeting called by Donald Trump at the White House.
He stressed that the US government is working "relentlessly to contain this crisis in the countries where it is currently spreading, particularly in the DRC", as well as with monitoring, in order to "ensure that no one infected with Ebola enters this country and causes us problems".
As the outbreak spreads in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the United States is looking to open a quarantine center in Kenya for suspected or confirmed Ebola cases, mostly Americans, a U.S. government official said on condition of anonymity, confirming a Wall Street Journal report.
The center is designed "to allow Americans who need to leave the Democratic Republic of Congo quickly and be quarantined to receive high-quality care without having to face the risks associated with a long return trip to the United States," the official said.
