Moments of terror in the air, plane engine bursts into flames as soon as it takes off from Corfu airport

The engine of a plane that took off from the runway at Corfu airport has caught fire in mid-air, creating moments of horror. According to reports, there were 250 passengers on board the plane and the pilots did not return to the runway after confirming that they could fly on one engine.

The plane reached an altitude of 3,300 meters, circled over Corfu, descending to 2,400 meters, and then chose not to return to Corfu airport, but to cross the Adriatic and land safely at Brindisi airport, in Italy.

It is learned that the plane was headed to Düsseldorf, Germany, and passengers have recounted the moments of terror they experienced as the flames in the engine were intense and the noise was loud.
