Revolutionary Guard claims responsibility for attack on US base, warns of even

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has officially claimed responsibility for launching ballistic missiles at the US Al Udeid air base in Qatar, saying it was in response to a US attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.

According to the announcement from the IRGC itself, there will no longer be an era of "hit and run" and any repeated American attacks will be followed by an Iranian response.

There was also a warning against Israel, stating that the escalation of American attacks could bring about "the end of the Zionist regime."

Iran's Supreme National Security Council meanwhile claims in a statement that the IRGC and the Army "destroyed" the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar in response to this weekend's attacks on nuclear sites in Iran.

He further says that the number of missiles matched the number of US bombs used and claims that the attack avoided civilian areas, with wording suggesting that this will be the only military action by Iran against the United States.

NOTICE

In response to the US attack on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it has launched a powerful missile attack on Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar - America's largest military base in West Asia.

This retaliatory attack, carried out as part of Operation Basharat al-Fath, was approved by Iran's Supreme National Security Council and directed by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command.

The era of “hit and run” is over – any repeated attacks will accelerate the decline of the American presence in West Asia.

The statement ends with a warning: Future attacks could lead to the collapse of both the American military infrastructure in the region and the Zionist regime.
