The neighbor forgot it in the car, the 6-month-old baby is found without signs of life

Travis Carter Jr. was found in the backseat of a neighbor's car after allegedly forgetting to leave him with his father. He was pronounced dead by medics when they arrived at the scene around 9pm on Tuesday in Cordes Lakes, Arizona. The neighbor, who is a teenager, was arrested and charged with manslaughter.
Earlier that day, Travis' mother, Aleesia Phillips, asked the teenager's neighbor to take him to Prescott Valley. She took Travis with her, but after the baby fell asleep, the mother asked a neighbor to drop him off at his father's house.
" The neighbor arrived home around 2:00 p.m., but did not take the child to the father's house. Instead he "parked the car exposed in the hot sun and went into the house, claiming they had forgotten the child in the car ," police said.
Travis called Alesia around 8:45 PM to ask. She immediately called the neighbor to find out what was happening and only then did she realize that the baby was still in the car.
Unfortunately child deaths in hot cars are not uncommon, with 17 reported in the US so far this year, MailOnline reports.
