Denmark: Russia could be preparing for a war in Europe soon

According to the Danish Defense Intelligence Agency, Russia could be ready for a full-scale war in Europe within five years of the end of the war in Ukraine.
The agency, based on its current threat analysis, suggests that the United States would not participate alongside NATO countries in such a war.
She stated that she considered it impossible for Russia to declare war on Ukraine at the same time as one or more NATO countries.
However, according to the report, if the conflict in Ukraine ends or escalates, Russia could unleash major military resources and potentially attack a neighboring country within six months.
The agency does not see any concrete plans on Russia's part for a war against a NATO country.
But Russia may be more likely to attack if it considers that the Western military alliance has weakened, for example if the United States were to withdraw its support.
Northern European states have long feared a threat from Russia.
The secret services of several Nordic countries believe that a Russian attack represents the greatest threat to the security of their states.
Last year, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius sounded the alarm that Russia could be capable of launching a military attack on NATO territory by 2029 and demanded that the German military be ready for war as soon as possible.
