A moment that stood out during today's meeting at the White House between the US president and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi was when Donald Trump made a joke about Pearl Harbor - an attack carried out by the Japanese Empire on the US Pacific Fleet in Hawaii during World War II that killed more than 2,400 Americans.
