Tirana/ Two illegal gambling establishments discovered, 3 people arrested

Tirana Police have finalized the "Multigames" operation, during which two premises where illegal games of chance were organized were discovered.
As a result of the operation, three citizens, administrators and employees of these entities, were arrested in flagrante delicto. BK, 20 years old, SM, 24 years old, and EB, 18 years old, were arrested.
According to the police, on "Muhamet Deliu" street, in a bar managed by 24-year-old SM, where citizen BK also worked, it is suspected that sports bets were being placed via mobile phones.
Meanwhile, on "Mysym Keta" street, in a bar where citizen EB was employed, two computers were found that were suspected of being used to organize gambling.
During the searches at both entities, police seized 6 computer units and monitors, 4 mobile phones and sports betting tickets.
The operation was carried out by specialists from the Cyber Crime Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, following controls to identify premises used for the illegal organization of gambling.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action, while controls against this illegal activity continue.
