Elderly woman dies after falling from the terrace of the asylum in Gjirokastra

72-year-old Sheqere Zeko, who fell from the terrace of the Nursing Home in Gjirokastra, has passed away.

It is learned that the fractures in the shoulder and leg were the injuries the deceased sustained when she fell from the terrace of the Nursing Home this afternoon.

Sheqere Zeko was contemplating nature on the terrace of the Asylum when she fell from a height of 7 meters, causing injuries to parts of her body. After being taken to the Gjirokastra Hospital by ambulance, she underwent routine examinations and her initial condition was stable and out of danger to her life.

After an hour, her physical condition worsened, forcing specialists to take her to the Fier Memorial Hospital for more specialized treatment. It is learned that she died on the way.
