Confiscated building in Vlora: Investor, former director of Urban Planning in the municipality. Administrator and investor under investigation for illegal construction

Vlora Police have issued an official announcement regarding the building where the IKMT landed yesterday and decided to confiscate it, as Prime Minister Edi Rama warned during a meeting with the directors of the Tirana Municipality and the capital's deputies.
The Blues of Vlorë announce that they have launched investigations into the investor and administrator of this facility that is being built in violation of the construction permit.
We recall that the permit for this 8-story building was granted in July 2021, while currently the works were on the second floor. The developer is the company 'Armeer Konstruksion' and Fatmir Halla, while the works were being implemented by the company "Stroytech".
It is learned that "Armeer Konstruksion", one of the developers of the building, is owned by Erjon Ahmataj, who was the Director of Urban Planning at the Municipality of Vlora, when the latter was headed by Dritan Leli.
"The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Specialists at the Vlora Police Department referred materials to the Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offense of "Illegal Construction" and initiated criminal proceedings against citizens FH, 53 years old, and EA, 51 years old, residents of Vlora, after in their capacity as investor and administrator of a construction entity, these citizens were found to have violated the conditions of the construction permit, in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, "Ibrahim Avdullai" street, Vlora," the police announced today.
The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
