PSG and Luis Enrique: He could end his coaching career before he's 60

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has stated that he is considering ending his coaching career before he turns 60.
He made this statement in an interview with "La Nueva España", where he spoke openly about how he sees his future in football and the limits he wants to set for himself in the profession.
According to him, he does not want to be a coach who stays on the bench for decades and who, over time, loses energy and freshness in his work.
He described this as an image that does not fit his personal philosophy, emphasizing that he prefers to leave at the right time, rather than continue just out of habit or routine.
Luis Enrique also revealed that he has discussed this topic within the family, including a symbolic "agreement" with his younger brother, Felipe.
He humorously mentioned that his brother planned to retire at the age of 61, and this has become a point of comparison between them, prompting the coach to consider not crossing this line.
However, he hinted that the decision is not absolute and could change depending on the motivation and energy he has in the future.
According to him, if he feels he still has the passion and strength to continue, he may reconsider his plans, but in principle the goal is not to extend his career indefinitely.
In the end, the PSG coach emphasized that staying on the bench beyond a certain age could be a mistake if it is not accompanied by full commitment and energy, underlining the importance of leaving at the right moment.
