Argentina striker Lionel Messi spoke to "Simplemente Futbol" on the YouTube channel about Lamine Yamal's rise to professional football.

He considers the Spaniard to be one of the best in the world.

"Children watch and imitate everything, they know everyone and follow everyone, because they talk about current players like Mbappe, Vinicius, Haaland, Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal.

Being so young is great. Seriously, it's incredible. It's impressive what Yamal is showing, what he's doing and what he's already done.

He has already been European champion with Spain.
