Gold medal for Albania/ Chermen Valiev declared European wrestling champion

Wrestler Chermen Valiev, who represents Albania, has won a gold medal at the European Championships being held in Slovakia.

Albania's Olympic medalist defeated Russian Zaurbek Sidakov, who was competing under a neutral flag, 4-2 in the final.

Valiev won the 74 kg final with a score of 4-2, giving Albania another important medal in this sport, while earlier Abakarov, also in Bratislava, won a bronze medal for Albania but in the 61 kg category.
