Mauro Icardi vents his anger: You told me I was fat, exhausted, out of shape...

Thanks to the 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor, Galatasaray was declared champion of Turkey for the 26th time in its history and after this triumph, Mauro Icardi, the striker of the yellows, chose to vent his anger through a clear message on social networks, addressing those who, this season, but also in the past, did not spare him harsh criticism.

'During these 4 years I have heard from everyone - Icardi wrote on Instagram where he had also posted a series of photos from the title celebration with Galatasaray together with his girlfriend China Suarez - that I was fat, weak. That I was finished, injured, out of shape or that I was no longer the same player. Maybe you were right, but my numbers and statistics speak for themselves, I invite you to look at them. Every day there was a new excuse, a new headline in the media, a new lie to sell stories and try to discredit me. But time always puts things in their place'

Afterwards, Mauro Icardi had a dedication to the fans

"When things get tough, when the pressure is high and you really have to take responsibility, only a few people have the ability to change history. I thank those who never stopped believing in me, sang for me, supported me and protected me even in the most difficult moments.
