Finnish football legend makes big surprise at age 55!

The legendary former Barcelona, Liverpool and Ajax striker was recruited by Estonian fourth division team Tallinna Kalev III, where his two sons, Caro, 17, and Bruno, 19, also play.
Jari Litmanen has made a surprise comeback to football at the age of 55, 14 years after deciding to retire from the field. Litmanen initially tried out for them in a youth match in October, but has now decided to officially sign up to be part of the team and share the dressing room with his sons.
In addition, the club is owned by former Liverpool player Ragnar Klavan, which has facilitated the return of the Finnish legend.
Jari Litmanen, third in the Ballon d'Or in 1995 and European champion with Ajax in the same year, has won a total of 23 official trophies and played 137 matches for the Finnish national team. He has also played for Barcelona, Liverpool and Fulham.
After 14 years of inactivity that began with his retirement in 2012, Litmanen seems to be returning to enjoy football and share moments on the pitch with his two sons in Estonia. His return gives a special media dimension to the small Tallinna Kalev III team.
