There are goals and ideas, but Milan lacks play. The Rossoneri are still not

If there's one thing we've learned about Sergio Conceicao in these first few weeks, it's that he doesn't like to talk much, but when he does, he never hides it and calmly admits that his Milan still have a lot of problems to solve. The upset victory over Como will help him in this regard, because finding the right corrections after a success is better than after a defeat, but there's no doubt that this team is far from what the former Porto coach has in mind.

POSITIVE ASPECTS –  Apart from the result and character (the third victory with a reversal from four challenges), there are few positive things and among them is undoubtedly the performance of Rafael Leao. It is no coincidence that from two explosions of the Portuguese, in addition to the goals, the two most dangerous actions were born: in the first half, first Reijnders and then Morata failed to take advantage of them, while at the beginning of the second half it was Jimenez who wasted everything when he found himself one on one with the rival goalkeeper Butez.

The 2-1 goal is, on the contrary, a mix of technique and speed, a number that we have seen many times in the past from the number 10 of the "Devil". A sign of recovery also from Abraham, who against Juve will lead the red and black attack that will probably be without Pulisic since Morata will not play due to suspension. The entry of Gabia, who is a candidate for the starting jersey instead of the injured Çau, is also positive.

NEEDS –  The weak points, however, are different, starting from the expressed game. Conceicao is still looking for solidity, because the team suffers when attacked and allows opponents to get out too easily. Then we still do not see the high pressure, which would enable a team that perhaps runs less, but does it in the most efficient way. Benaser and Fofana encroached on each other's territories and the Frenchman certainly performs better with Moussa on his side, as was proven in the second half. Teo is growing in attack, but in defense he still has some amnesia (see Diao's goal, which he left too much space for). However, the ranking is becoming more interesting, the Champions zone is at 5 points (potentially 2 in case of victory in the recovery match against Bologna), but a boost in quality and consistency of results is needed.
