Spectacular failure, Turkey sees itself out of the World Cup, Paraguay triumphs

Turkey pulls off one of the biggest bluffs of this World Cup, with Montella's team seeing themselves out of the tournament in the second round. Despite the fact that on paper, Turkey is a team full of class players, two losses in the first two games of the group stage mean that Calhanoglu, Guler, Yildiz and other stars are packing their bags ahead of time.
Paraguay were expected to face a tough match, with the Latin team taking the lead in the 2nd minute. At the end of the first half, Paraguay were reduced to 10 men, with Almiron becoming the first player to be sent off for silence, in what is considered the “Vinicius” rule.
Despite being one player short for part of the game, Paraguay fanatically defended this three-point lead, eliminating Turkey from the competition.
