Comolli appointed new Juventus general director: 'Happy and honoured'. Chiellini will report to him

It's now official, Damien Comolli joins Juventus management. The news was confirmed by the black and white club itself through an official statement: "Juventus welcomes Damien Comolli, who from June 4, 2025 will come to our club to take on the role of general director, from where he will report directly to the chief executive, Maurizio Scanavino.

A leader with consolidated international experience, Damien Comolli brings with him a significant baggage of technical, managerial and strategic skills, developed over more than 30 years at the helm of major European football clubs.

He has held key roles at prestigious clubs such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Fenerbahçe and most recently Toulouse, leading the club to promotion to Ligue 1 and victory in the 'Coupe de France'. Damien Comolli will be responsible for the men's football sports area, as well as the marketing and commercial departments.

"Under his leadership, Giorgio Chiellini, a historic figure of our club, who has always embodied the values ​​and spirit of Juventus, will also work in the role of Director of Football Strategy. With this appointment, Juventus further strengthens its organizational structure, with the aim of sustainable growth and facing new challenges with renewed determination and ambition."
