Benzema introduces himself to the new team: Al-Hilal is like Real Madrid, but in Asia!

The Saudi transfer market has brought an unexpected development. After two and a half years with Al-Ittihad, Karim Benzema has decided to continue his adventure in the Saudi Pro League, but with another club, transferring to Al-Hilal at the end of the winter transfer market.

A move that has caused debate and that opens a new chapter in the career of the former Ballon d'Or winner.

Officially introduced just a few days ago, the French striker has expressed his enthusiasm for this new step: "I am very happy to be part of Al-Hilal. It is an extraordinary team, with a great history and many trophies. It is like Real Madrid, but in Asia," declared Benzema, underlining the club's ambitions.

The contract ties the 39-year-old to the reigning champions until June 2027. Under the guidance of Simone Inzaghi, Benzema will also find his compatriot Theo Hernandez in the team.
