An incident occurred at the Media Center at the Eurovision Song Contest being held in Vienna, where a member of the Serbian delegation reacted to the waving of the Kosovo flag during the performance of Albanian singer Alis Kallaçi with the song "Nân".
According to Eurovision Kosovo member Albert Limani, who was with the RTK Radio team in the media room, a woman from the Serbian delegation attempted to remove the Kosovo flag, claiming that "this flag is not allowed here."
He stated that he intervened when an attempt was made to touch the flag and that the situation was resolved without further escalation.
"The flag of Kosovo will fly and be allowed everywhere, and we will protect it at all costs," Limani was quoted as saying.
The incident occurred during the time when Alis Kallaçi performed in the Eurovision final, performing the song "Nân", an emotional ballad about the mother-child bond.
