Associated Press ranks Ali's performance in the top 10: Like a movie soundtrack

The Associated Press has ranked Ali's "Nân" performance among the top 10 of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, praising the dramatic atmosphere and emotional charge of the performance on stage.

In its article, AP also highlights the presence of actress Raimonda Bulku during the performance, as well as the moment when images of sons in emigration appear on the screen, a symbolism related to the departure of sons from the country.

“The song opens with a cry, with a church-like choir adding to the theatricality. Dramatic, to say the least! Then, Alis, the vocalist behind “Nân,” takes control. Everything unfolds like the soundtrack to an emotional scene in a blockbuster movie, and in the final scene, the performance continued to have weight: he was wearing what looked like a chainmail harness while a woman, symbolizing a mother, moved around him ,” writes the Associated Press.
