The Chairman of the Democratic Party instructed the branches, coordinators and political leaders to begin the party's reorganization, its opening and new memberships, as, as he said, "there are hundreds and thousands of citizens who want to join."
He criticized the structures that until now had been apathetic and sluggish, so no time should be wasted and declared non-surrender until the mission of overthrowing the government is accomplished. He also had a response to those recently expelled from the DP, describing them as collaborators of the government for their personal benefits and automatically as "self-excluded".
"We are in the electoral process and I am pleased to inform Albanians that this process has been conducted in accordance with the standards and statute of the Democratic Party to date. Based on the competition with many candidates and the membership vote for the chairman. And this is an important development, but in a series of meetings we have agreed that we are obliged to multifaceted activities. We are obliged, it is important to focus on organization, organization, organization. To do even what circumstances prevent us. We will do everything to open the Democratic Party, we must have a concrete project, every chairman, coordinator and political leader must have new memberships and the opening of the party as a benchmark. There are hundreds, if not thousands of unaffiliated democrats who want to join, they are encountering our sluggishness and apathy. Berisha said that this would be the main task, in parallel with the elections and the protests to overthrow the government.

And finally, a response to the accusations of those who recently left the DP in Durrës, Shkodër or Elbasan. He appealed for the resistance of the Democrats and the future victory of the opposition.

There are others who are sold and bought, bargain, but the Democrats stand their ground, absolutely, so we stand by our efforts for solid organization, for values. Let no one think that by serving the socialists they will be part of us. There are people who sell themselves and bargain, but the Democrats are stronger. We will not give up.
