Rama again on his knees before Meloni, diplomacy in the "personal show" version

Edi Rama did it again! For the third time, the Albanian Prime Minister knelt before Giorgia Meloni, this time at the Conference for the Recovery of Ukraine. With clasped hands, a smile and a little theatricality, Rama addressed Meloni like a medieval knight meeting his queen.

Even though Meloni has previously "scolded" him jokingly by saying " enough with this story ", Rama seems unable to resist the temptation to put himself on stage again. Once in Abu Dhabi, once in Tirana and now in Berlin, three kneelings, one Meloni and many cameras!

After bowing, he hugged Meloni and then gave a speech in which he emphasized that Albania stands alongside Italy and the EU for Ukraine, even though “ we have not made many changes on the front line .” The important thing is to appear, not necessarily to act!

Apparently, for Rama, diplomacy is a mix of politics and spectacle. And in this case, he uses his knees more for show than for political stances.
