Rama confronts the large protest from Vlora: I will not negotiate, whoever demands resignation will wait a long time
Prime Minister Edi Rama responded today from Vlora to the calls of the large city protests that are taking place on the sixth day of the protest in Tirana, declaring that he has no intention of negotiating with anyone and that demands for his resignation will not be taken into consideration.
During a meeting with the residents of Zvërnec, the head of government focused on the political situation in the country and commented on the protests taking place in the capital. Rama stressed that the government will continue to work according to the mandate received from the citizens and that there will be no negotiations under the pressure of the protests.
"I have no reason to negotiate with anyone. Those who demand my resignation will have to wait a very long time," Rama told those present.
The prime minister's statement comes as protesters have entered the sixth day of their rallies in Tirana, raising a series of demands to the government. Meanwhile, the prime minister continues to accuse these massive civic protests of being organized by Albania's enemies.
