In the "Log." studio on News24, journalist Poli Hoxha and DP MP Oerd Bylykbashi debated the DP's claims about the results of the May 11 elections.
Hoxha said that although the opposition has continued to denounce voting irregularities since the end of the elections, no one from the DP is talking about the electoral system as the main cause of the reality it produced after May 11.
"How is it possible that you talk from morning to night about crime, patronage workers, who in my opinion should be declared illegal, not patronage workers and customs workers. All this is a system, how is it possible that you don't mention electoral reform. You say this and that and I haven't heard you speak. Why don't you say that the time has come for a new electoral system," asked journalist Poli Hoxha.
MP Bylykbashi said that the DP has sought to change the electoral system but has encountered strong and continuous opposition from the majority.
"It's an ugly hybrid. In 2021 I said it was a toxic system until 2024. I said this system should be eliminated. There was a proposal to have a German system, it was not approved.
"They don't want to rotate," said Bylykbashi.

Poli Hoxha: This is from 2025 and was voted on.
Oerd Bylykbashi : It's an ugly hybrid. In 2021 I said it was a toxic system and I continued like that until 2024. I said that this system must disappear, period. A proposal was made to return to the German system and it was not approved. Gjiknuri's response was: You must be crazy for Rama to give back to you what the coalition took from you. There is no chance of that happening!
