The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, claims that his votes are being stolen in Tirana, by being caught with the color of the ballot paper.
In a statement to the media from the counting center, he says that since the Opportunity Party is close to a second term, they are "putting their hands in to steal votes."
While bringing an example of other ballot papers that were distinguishable by color, Shehaj stated that if this logic were followed, the other ballot papers should also be declared invalid, but this is being done intentionally to Mundesia.
"These are three ballots, the first and third are ballots of the Opportunity Party. They say that the color of these and this one here is different, so they want to declare these ballots invalid. I asked them to also look at a ballot from a political entity. Here, all three were clearly different. If the logic that the color is not identical was followed, there was room to declare any of these invalid. Because we are very close to the second term and the second term based on the boxes that are opened sometimes we get it and sometimes it goes to another entity, practically now they are putting their hands in the counting process to steal our mandate. This is the last way they have chosen ," said Shehaj.
