Oil price/ Rama: If we remove the circulation tax, drivers will pay 4 times more

Edi Rama, at the Assembly of the Socialist Party of Unit 7 in Tirana, focused on the increase in oil prices, as a result of the conflict in the Middle East.

Speaking about the structure of the oil price, Rama explained that if we remove the circulation tax from the price of oil, the price will drop, but everyone who owns a vehicle will have to pay 4 times what they pay today.

"Beyond this, we have undertaken to make a profound transformation of the entire way in which activity is carried out in the oil market, by creating a public company that will undertake to guarantee the strategic oil reserve. Strategic reserves are very important as we cannot risk running out of oil at a certain time ," said Rama.
