Ilir Meta again requests replacement of security measure, GJKKO sets hearing date

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has addressed the GJKKO with a request to replace the measure of "prison arrest" with a milder security measure, also offering financial guarantees.

To review this request, the GJKKO has scheduled a court session for May 11, at 11:30.

Meanwhile, the court has sent a subpoena to Meta's defense attorney, Kujtim Cakrani, who has been summoned to appear at the hearing to defend the former president's request.

According to the announcement, Ilir Meta's request will be reviewed by Judge Etleva Deda.
