China is controlling rain with drones: The technology that "commands" the weather

China has officially begun testing weather control, and it's doing so using high-tech drones that create artificial rainfall. In the arid region of Xinjiang, drones released chemicals like silver iodide into the atmosphere, stimulating cloud formation and increasing rainfall by about 4%.
The amount was enough to create dense storms, capable of filling dozens of Olympic swimming pools.
This new technology is part of a larger national plan, intended to be rolled out across the country by the end of 2025, with the main aim of supporting agriculture and areas suffering from extreme droughts.
However, as China moves toward an era where rain can be "commanded," many experts raise serious questions about the long-term impact of weather manipulation: What happens when nature obeys technology?
