The Speaker of the Parliament, Albulena Haxhiu, resumed the session for the election of the president.
She said that the tenth legislature is in its final minutes, as "despite the call" for opposition MPs to come to the hall, they are not present, as they are seeking guarantees that Kurti is not providing.
She accused the opposition of lacking "will" to elect the president.
"Despite the call for MPs to be present at the session, as you can see from the opposition, MPs from PDK, LDK, AAK, Serbian List, Duda Balje... are not present even in the last attempt to elect the country's president... We are waiting to see if the MPs are returning," said Haxhiu.
