Kosovo/ Oil Workers' Association warns of protests against government

KOSOVO- The President of the Oilmen's Association, Fadil Berjani, has warned that some fuel businesses may go bankrupt due to the decision of the Ministry of Industry on the maximum price allowed for the sale of fuels.

According to Berjani, oil is being imported at 1.86 euros per liter and sold for the same price, which he sees as harmful to businesses.

"Diesel 1.86, gasoline 1.44. Import price for Diesel: €1.86. The Government's decision is being respected. Yes, it is a wrong decision and it harms businesses and some of the points may go bankrupt. Nowhere in the world are there such developments and they force businesses to buy diesel at €1.86 and sell it at €1.86," Berjani told the media in Kosovo.

The association has requested that the Government's decision be changed, warning that otherwise it will protest these prices.
