Lulzim Basha and the crisis model in Albanian politics!

Many thought and fought to eliminate Basha as a political factor inside and outside the country! Even, as it is now known, the international war against him has been as fierce as the internal one and even more so.
Everything they tried to do in the environment of Albanian public opinion to fill the minds of Albanians that Basha is:
- A traitor to the democrats
- He is a loser
- He does not win
- He is not a leader
And even, now even a former subordinate of his who used to write epics about him described as "impudent" alluding that he had not reacted to Salianj! In fact, I don't want to comment on the latter, because he made his own political choices and also chose his own political style to achieve his career.
The last fight against Basha, almost by consensus, was to remove him from the Council of Europe, without taking into account that he had a very important international role also in relation to the confiscation of Russian assets.
I have often said that you do not become a leader in a day and I have also said that in their desperate struggle filled with anger, selfishness and jealousy, the opponents could not defeat Basha from the ground up because they wanted to because of the incoherence of theirs.
Basha is a long-term DP investment from 2005 to the present day. His international commitments in a long period, his profile from the West has made him an indisputable factor of Albania's international interests and also perhaps a guarantee for issues related to Kosovo and peace and stability in Western Balkans.
Whether it is an arrest or a political imprisonment of Salianj, I cannot say, because I was not part of his history in relation to politics and the model he chose to do politics. Prison is not something to wish on anyone, and even more so on a young politician. Everyone, due to their circumstances and character or experience, chooses their own model of how to climb the career ladder in politics.
Basically, I think that Salianji's model proves nothing but the crisis of meritocracy and the small spaces that young people have as opportunities to do politics. Under these circumstances, many of the young politicians choose either servility to the boss or strong leadership as the only possibility to climb the political career ladder faster. There is no debate in the Albanian parties, and as a result, you cannot make a career because of the arguments and the intellectual range, and as a result, other forms of exaggerated protagonism remain to catch the eye of the militants or the "Chief".
Go back to the figure of Basha. He made several decisions like the one in September, thinking and believing that the DP would go into international isolation and in fact in the role of the oracle, Basha later predicted very truthfully what would happen to the DP and the Democrats if they were not in coherence with events and time.
Those who have DP today, even though they try to convince the democrats that they are internationally acceptable, in fact, they do not have any concrete evidence that confirms such an idea. They behave as in the USA and Europe, meeting a second-rate leader or a retired leader without any political impact. There are also meetings between Albanians, which are also often done online, because they have no other forms or opportunities.
Salianji's case was one that needed an international echo and so far they have boasted of a letter written in English. While Basha, who was accused of impudence for not reacting, thanks to his international profile, he has raised the issue of Salianj at high levels of decision-making and EU chancelleries! Basha has even raised today, as he claims through a reaction, the issue of Salianj exactly where it has been hinted for a long time that Basha does not belong, precisely in the Parliamentary Group of the European People's Party. Time is proving and will prove that, beyond their efforts to attack Basha at all costs and means, they are actually attacking themselves and harming PD internationally and also its future together with that of the Democrats.
More than the crisis of Basha's leadership, the behavior towards him clearly proves the crisis of Albanian politics which continues to attack every new promising figure of leadership for a European and democratic Albania.
