The most expensive in the region! How much does a meal cost in Albanian restaurants?

One of the most popular businesses in Albania is restaurants. With the continuous growth of tourism in the country, this business is becoming increasingly popular.

But how much does an average meal for two people in a mid-range restaurant in Albania cost? According to the Numbeo platform, this figure amounts to around 47.5 euros, ranking our country in 42nd place out of 123 countries considered.

In the region, Albania turns out to be the most expensive for this service. After us comes Serbia, where a meal in a budget restaurant costs about 42.6 euros, ranking 54th. Next comes Montenegro with an average of 40 euros, in 60th place.

Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia offer more affordable prices, ranking 78th and 91st respectively.
Meanwhile, Kosovo turns out to be the cheapest place in the region for a meal at a mid-range restaurant, at just 20 euros for two people.

Although Albania is more expensive compared to its neighbors, when we compare it to popular European countries like Spain, France, or Italy, it turns out that we are cheaper. This is a very positive point for Albanian tourism, as it offers a quality experience at an affordable cost.

At the top of the list for the highest prices is Iceland, where a meal for two can cost up to 124 euros. It is followed by Switzerland and Cameroon.
