The Transparency Board approves new fuel prices/ The price of diesel drops below 200 lek per liter, here's how much gasoline will be sold for

The Transparency Board on April 18, 2026, at its next meeting, approved the new fuel prices.
The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard shall be no more than 197 lek/liter, while the wholesale price shall be no more than 185 lek/liter.
The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 172 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 160 lek/liter.
????The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 18th, at 10:30 am and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.
We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision.
In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market.
