"El Mencho" is buried in a golden coffin!

Notorious Mexican drug lord Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes , known as " El Mencho ," has been laid to rest in a funeral ceremony held under tight security in Mexico.
The leader of the powerful Jalisco New Generation Cartel was buried in a golden coffin in a cemetery in Zapopan, a city on the outskirts of Guadalajara, Mexico's second largest city.
His body was transported from a funeral home in Guadalajara to the "Recinto de la Paz" cemetery, while a large presence of the military and security forces was observed during the ceremony.
Only a dozen people attended the funeral, many of them wearing black umbrellas despite the sunny weather, while a band played traditional Mexican music.
Mexican authorities have not officially confirmed the location of the grave for security reasons, while the area around the funeral home had been under strict surveillance since the previous day.
" El Mencho " was killed on February 22 during a military operation to capture him in the state of Jalisco.
According to the death certificate, he died from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, abdomen, and legs after being involved in a shootout with soldiers.
His killing sparked a new wave of violence in Mexico, with clashes and attacks in about 20 states across the country. More than 70 people are reported to have died in the violence that followed the operation.
Authorities have stated that operations against other members of the cartel continue, while the figure of "El Mencho" is expected to remain one of the most talked-about names in the criminal world in Mexico.
In the country, the funerals of drug lords are often accompanied by mystery and legend, while ballads known as "narcocorridos" have also begun to be written about "El Mencho".
