Three fires still active! Ministry of Defense: Problematic situation in these regions

The Ministry of Defense has updated the fire situation in the country, announcing that as of 9:00 PM on June 23, a total of 20 fires have been reported, of which 17 have been extinguished and 3 continue to be active.

According to the National Civil Emergency Operations Center at AKMC, active outbreaks are located in three regions: Vlora, Lezha and Kukës.

In Vlora , the most problematic outbreak is the one in the village of Kudhës, Himara municipality. It has high intensity but does not pose a risk to homes. In the areas of Qafë Lerë – Llaman there are small outbreaks, under control. Meanwhile, the outbreak in Porto Palermo has been completely extinguished.

In Kukës , in the village of Kolsh, Kukës municipality, a fire has broken out at an urban waste dump. The work to extinguish it is continuing with the help of 10 firefighters, heavy equipment and staff from the municipality.

In Lezha , in the village of Nderfan in Mirdita, there is a fire in an area of ​​young forest and bushes. Due to the terrain, intervention with firefighting vehicles is impossible. Firefighters, forestry forces and volunteers are engaged in the operation.
