Extremely high temperatures inside the car, police break the window to save the trapped baby

Shocking body camera footage has documented the moment police in California rescued a baby left alone inside an overheated car in the city of Corona on June 17.

The child was found in the back seat of a vehicle that was turned off and with the windows closed, while the temperature inside had reached 43°C. Officers used a crowbar to break the driver's side window and rushed to help the little one, immediately cooling and calming him down.

The parents' identities have not been released and it is not known how long the baby was left alone. Police released the video to raise awareness of the deadly dangers of leaving children in cars during high temperatures.
